A panoramic view of a sandstorm sweeping through the Yarlung Tsangpo Valley, captured from the 4,800-meter Gampa La Pass after an arduous climb. This color-graded image showcases the raw, powerful beauty of Tibet's high-altitude landscape, earned through physical hardship and photographic dedication.

The photos that stick with me the most always come from brutal shoots. Climbing from 3,000 meters up to the 4,800-meter Gampa La Pass overlooking Yamdrok Lake (Tibet’s sacred lake), then hauling gear up a 100-meter slope—every step was torture. From this high up, when I turned to face the Yarlung Tsangpo Valley, that’s not fog in the shot. It’s a sandstorm, color-graded to look like this.
